34 weeks prego

As of today I am officially 35 weeks pregnant.  I'm so glad to have made it this far and hope that the babies will stay safe and warm in their watery home for at least another week.  We have the nursery all set up and the car seats ready, we just want them to gain a little more weight before they arrive.  I am getting rounder by the day, but I actually feel better than I have for almost my entire pregnancy.  I finally am over my terrible morning sickness (that lasted all day and night for 8 months- I am still on medication to make sure that it doesn't resurface) and I am able to eat like a normal person.  My gestational diabetes has also been kept under control with diet. I am also much less stressed knowing that we are now in a safe window for their arrival.

I just  think the babies are waiting until Obama is declared the official Democratic Party nominee before the enter the world.  Sometimes I think I hear them quietly chanting "Yes We Can!"

  1. Congratulations!! I'm so glad you've managed to keep incubating them this long! Every day helps, I hear! You look fabulous and I'm glad the morning sickness is (finally) gone. 8 months, eh? Yikes!

  4. Way to survive the hardest parts of pregnancy (except for delivery, of course)! We'll anxiously await the good news. What with you delivering early and me late, maybe they'll all be born on the same day!

  6. That is the best "Momma for Obama" endorsement I have seen thus far. Heck, I would even birth some twins if it would put him in the White House. Glad you are doing your part for this great country of ours.

You could name one of them Barack. (Or Kcarab.)
