first sunburn and teeth

Yes, our kids really don't have much hope for getting tan skin. I'll have to me more careful from now on. We went to the park on Friday, I didn't think it was sunburn weather....but I was wrong. Thankfully Max's hat kept him a little better covered.

In other news, Max is cutting four teeth....yes, four, that makes 6 in total. The top two plus one on the right have been starting to poke through for the last couple of weeks. (he got his first two at 5 months old) Then this afternoon I noticed that he is also getting another one on the bottom right. Thankfully other than a lot of drool he has been in a pretty good mood. I'm already missing his gummy grin.

Maya is pretty happy with just her bottom two.

  7. Yeah, I remember having to be careful out under the deceptively cloudy Panama skies! Imagine, being able to go to the park at this time of year... how wonderful!

  8. I remember feeling so bad (and guilty) when Ammon was under one and got a bad sunburn. You and your kids are not alone in the curse of the fair skin - ugh!
